Por muchas vueltas que se le de, el indicador más certero de la
profundidad y del daño que está causando una crisis económica es la
desaparición de empresas. No cabe duda de que el aumento del desempleo
es terrible pero incluso éste puede ser temporal y si está protegido no
conlleva grandes caídas subsiguientes en la demanda. Pero cuando
desaparece una empresa no solo se pierde empleo en ese momento sino que
además salta por los aires una fuente futura de creación de puestos de
trabajo, se pierden quizá para siempre recursos físicos, financieros y
humanos y se desperdicia en la mayoría de las ocasiones el esfuerzo de
muchos años y de muchas vidas.
Sean de propiedad privada, social o pública (porque no hay mayor
error que confundirlas con el capitalismo) las empresas son
organizaciones vitales para la satisfacción de las necesidades humanas y
sin las cuales es imposible resolver los asuntos más básicos de nuestra
vida cotidiana.
Por eso, la desaparición en España de más de 200.000 empresas desde
2008 no puede calificarse sino como de auténtica tragedia económica a la
que habría que poner freno cuanto antes si no queremos hundirnos en la
depresión económica y en el empobrecimiento continuado durante muchos
años.....
